Bravo: Why AI-powered guidance is a sea change for client engagement

For years, organizations have invested in financial wellness as a way to demonstrate care for their members, employees, and clients. Articles, toolkits, resource portals; there is no shortage of content. But more often than not, we hear that most financial wellness programs fall short when it comes to engagement and impact.

"In financial wellness, the opportunity isn't more content. The opportunity is showing up with real answers wherever and whenever your clients have financial questions."

— Kevin Cimring, CEO, Ovation Ventures

A smarter kind of engagement

That's the gap Bravo was built to fill. Powered by AI, Bravo delivers personalized, conversational financial guidance that meets people where they are — on a credit union website, an employer benefits portal, or a mobile app — and responds to them as individuals, not audiences.

The conversations Bravo enables are the kinds that build real trust: How do I start paying down debt given my income and expenses? Can you build a budget for my lifestyle? What benefits am I leaving on the table? Each interaction is informed by the user's actual financial context. And, with Bravo's built-in memory, every follow-up conversation picks up where the last one left off, getting smarter and more useful over time.

Bravo is white-labeled and compliance-ready from day one, with configurable guardrails and a full audit trail built in. It deploys seamlessly across any digital surface, and your members and clients only ever see your brand.

Significant first milestone

Ovation has spent the past few years focused on building the infrastructure that powers engaging and actionable financial wellness solutions. Bravo represents an exciting evolution of that work, bringing together our team’s deep experience in serving some of the largest financial institutions in Amerca with the incredible potential that AI has to offer.

We're excited to announce that Bravo's first major deployment will be through BeBalanced, the official mobile app from Balance — the national coaching and counselling company serving 200+ financial institutions, EAPs, and employers. It's a significant first step, and one that puts Bravo in front of a large, diverse audience from day one.

Expanding into wealth management

Building on this foundation, Bravo is extending its mission into new territory: working directly with wealth managers and plan participant advisors who are looking for a smarter way to identify and convert the assets already within their orbit.

The retirement industry has a well-documented blind spot: $2.1 trillion sits in forgotten 401(k)s, brokerage accounts go undetected, and idle cash earns nothing. Passive financial wellness programs can educate, but they lack the mechanism to surface these assets at scale.

Through personalized AI-driven conversations, Bravo surfaces held-away assets, orphan rollovers, surplus income, and legacy gaps at the individual participant level. It then routes those signals to advisors as structured, actionable opportunities, complete with a pre-meeting briefing, flagged priorities, and a booked appointment. The result is a pipeline that didn't exist before. Advisors walk into every conversation prepared, and organizations gain a scalable AUM discovery engine that runs continuously across their entire participant base.

Sitting on the fence is not an option

82% of Gen Z and millennials already use AI for financial guidance. For organizations that serve these audiences, the question is no longer whether they'll use AI — it's whether you'll be the trusted source they turn to. (Intuit Credit Karma, 2025)

Providing a compliant, intelligent solution with the right guardrails isn't just a product decision, it's become a strategic imperative. Organizations that show up in these moments don't just build loyalty; they open conversations that surface real needs, real opportunities, and real growth. Bravo has been purpose-built for organizations that want to be the trusted voice their clients turn to, before someone else is.

The bigger picture

Across every channel we serve — credit unions, employers, financial wellness platforms, and now wealth managers — the underlying opportunity is the same. People want guidance that's personal, responsive, and available when they need it. Organizations want engagement that builds trust and drives growth. Bravo sits at that intersection.
